Yesterday my daughter called my ...How wired are we? Yesterday my daughter called my cell, but I missed the call, so she called the land line. She had taken a road trip by herself and ended up in a town called Nevada City, California. I Googled the town and found her cross streets as we chatted, her on my speaker phone, her on her cell. Then I hit street view in Google and "followed" the route she was walking, to the park I'd found for her to explore. But then street view ran out, so she texted a pic and message to my wife's cell. An electronic, interactive walk in the park? Ten years ago... inconceivable?

PS: Your post helped get me thinking about using the school's computer lab for an after school Language Arts remedial program. We have a SmartBoard and 30 or so Macs.Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070578562535678950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4440884949088137765.post-87195290620757339192008-11-30T11:41:00.000+00:002008-11-30T11:41:00.000+00:00Haha, i found the 'Pomegranate' advert very amusin...Haha, i found the 'Pomegranate' advert very amusing!
I loved the name 'Pomegranate', i imagine it was used to humour a 'Blackberry'. Oh and the 'Apple iPhone'!
The phone did look really amazing though, shame that something like that is quite far off in terms of production?
One personal bit of advice, companies need not waste the extra time and money on a built in harmonica, haha.
I also caught a glimpse of the 'Sony Rolly' on YouTube, i think this has actually been brought to the shelves! It's a device that moves to your music and flashes LED lights to create a relevant performance for you! You simply play the song and the 'Rolly' interacts with the beat and has a little dance! Very amusing advert!Max Warbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15066478643271337191noreply@blogger.com
